Product Details

Hyaluronidase, known as Hyalase, is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid — a substance naturally found in the body, especially in the skin, eyes, and connective tissue.

In aesthetics, hyaluronidase is used to:

  • Dissolve hyaluronic acid dermal fillers(e.g., if there's overfilling, unevenness, migration, or vascular occlusion).
  • Correct mistakes or complications from filler treatments.
  • Speed up breakdown of natural or injected hyaluronic acid in certain areas.

Key Points:

  • It works within minutes to a few hours, but full effects may take up to 24–48 hours.
  • It's usually injected into the area where the filler is located.
  • A patch test is often done beforehand, as some people may be allergic.

Important in aesthetics:

Hyaluronidase is considered a critical emergency tool for aesthetic practitioners, especially in the event of vascular occlusion — when filler blocks a blood vessel, which can cause tissue death if untreated.
